Environmental Remediation

RONCO has increasingly specialized in the entire range of demining activities, including MEC and unexploded ordnance clearance, removal and disposal; munitions management; all aspects of explosive ordnance disposal; and, training of host-country and third-country personnel in these disciplines. RONCO is the only U.S. company with international experience in using all demining and EOD technologies in an integrated, cost-effective manner, and more specifically in difficult environments such as Iraq, Afghanistan, Sudan, and Central Asia.

Over the years, our staff has assessed the scope and nature of landmine and unexploded ordnance (UXO) contamination in more than 30 mine- and UXO-infested countries. As a result, we have been directly involved in conducting demining operations, battlefield area clearance, EOD operations, and/or small arms and munitions stockpile destruction in Afghanistan, Albania, Bosnia, Croatia, Eritrea, Guantanamo Bay, Guinea, Iraq, Kosovo, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Sudan, and Sri Lanka under the direction of the U.S. Department of State, United Nations, Slovenian International Trust Fund, World Bank, and U.S. Department of Defense.

Today, RONCO also specializes in environmental remediation with a full array of management, training, administration, logistics, procurement, technical, and financial personnel supporting these activities.
